Yuki Otoko, also known as the abominable snowman or yeti, is said to be a large, ape-like monster, similar to Bigfoot, that inhabits snowy mountain ranges. In the anime, they are shown as male counterparts to the Yuki Onna.
In Japanese folklore, the Yuki Onna/Snow woman are a purely female race, while Yuki Otoko/Snow man, refers to a yeti in Japanese.
