Earl Grey was a loyal guard dog to the Shuzen Family. His duty was to guard the Shuzen Household from any intruders that come near the castle. Later on, Akua Shuzen becomes Earl Grey’s owner.

Earl Grey and Akua Shuzen.
Earl Grey first appeared in chapter 29 season 2 inside of Moka's memories. He is barking at a young Akua who comes to live in the household and eventually bites her hand when she tried to pet him as that he didn't like her. When Akua showed a slight of her nature, Earl Grey whimpers in fear and runs to a young Moka for protection.
Seven years later, Earl Grey is seen in the Fairy Tale's airship in Akua's room happily seeing his owner return with Moka.
