Dhampire (called a dhampir or dampir in regular English, pronounced "dam-peer" rather than with the "pire" part) is another type of Vampire. Described briefly by Yukari Sendo this Vampire variant is an individual born of Vampiric and human parents. Because their genetics are not pure, which is a point of pride for Vampires, these individuals are ostracized and shunned by their pure-blooded bretheren.

- Dhampires have not been seen in Rosario + Vampire only mentioned.
- As most vampires are prideful and would refuse their bloodline to be weakened by breeding with humans, the birth of dhampires would likely be low.
- Had Tsukune not turned into a Shinso vampire, his and Moka's offspring would have been dhampires; Moka's father and sisters would have accepted them, as Moka's happiness meant more than their lineage purity.
- It's unknown if dhampire also applies to other half vampiric offspring; given a Succubus and Yuki-Onna are trying to have Tsukune's children as well.
